huh? maybe I'm not tracking. Where did I say I didn't want to spend $ on an oil change? On the contrary, I was doing 3k OCI's on this car and I never used M1 0w-40 ever. Other than earlier on in the cars life where I ran Castrol 0-40 (prior to swapping to the bigger turbo etc) I was running Motul Sport.

ok thanks. Yes, I had some back and forth with him 6 months ago or so where he recommended their Super Car engine oil. If it wasn't almost 2x the price of the M1 5-50 for 6 qts I would give it a go, but without some sort of sale I'll probably do the M1.

that was in response to @edyvw when he suggested I run M1 5-50 which I never did(but did consider). I ran Motul Sport exclusively before I sold the car. I was speaking to the HPL oils, which frankly yes I wasn't going to spend the $ for when I can spend half-ish the price on Motul Sport
