I am about to service the transmission in our 2013 Lexus GS350 F Sport RWD with the 6 speed transmission.
This transmission uses the straw to set proper fluid level...
If anyone has a Toyota/Lexus service manual, can you tell me the temperature range for the level check procedure?
I have heard 102* to 120* F, 113* to 130* F, 120* to 127* F.

Personally, I have to believe anywhere in there should be fine.
I appreciate your help.

PM me your vin number and I will look it up in TIS. Easier to get into TIS with a vin than without

I have a 14 with the 8 spd. If I let it drain through the level “straw” while running until it’s just a trickle, I hear the thing “sucking air” on hard acceleration. I have to keep mine maybe a 1/2 quart over that, to where there’s still a little flow coming out the straw, to prevent it. I’ve not been 100% comfortable with this method.
