What i am using it in doesn't have ring problems, just some leaks. I'd run HM oil but I have a stash of Euro oils that I'll dump a can in with and call it good.Ohh, OK. I read up on it too, had never heard of it. VRP cleaning the rings offer any hope, no? Just seals leaking?

in my case, my accord drinks more oil than it does gas so it got poured on topIf your oil capacity is 4.5qt, do you drain 0.5qt, then add Liqui Moly Motor Saver?
Naw. Just pour it in and send it.If your oil capacity is 4.5qt, do you drain 0.5qt, then add Liqui Moly Motor Saver?
It’s a German version of Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer. Its only purpose is to dilute perfectly good motor oils and give people a false sense of security for their choice of delaying corrective maintenance by just fixing the oil leak. What is the purpose of this product?
False. It's function is to gently swell seals to slow or stop leaks and rejuvenate valve stem seals. It's similar to the seal swelling of a HM oil, and UNLIKE the damaging STP Stop Leak product and its ilk .It’s a German version of Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer. Why do real work when you can just dump something in the oil hole?
You can tell you have no clue about this product, it is not thick at all. Now they do make a thickener product, this is not it. I’m the one with no clue about it? LM says Motor Oil Saver is ~134cSt @ 40*C (and LM uses “paste like” in the descriptor!) which is exactly twice as thick as Motul EcoLite 5w30 at ~67cSt. Motul 4100 Power 15w50, on the other hand, is only slightly thicker, at ~155cSt @ 40*C. That's why I bought these stuff to put in the oil hole. The real work cost too much. ie, RMS.delaying corrective maintenance by just fixing the oil leak.

exactly why i bought it for my accord. not putting the work in to do valve stem seals. maybe this slows the burning down, maybe it doesn’t. i know ill dump it in the few cars i do pro bon maintenance on that seem from every orifice. The

You were saying it is as thick and garbage as Lucas. Lucas cst at 100c is 110cst. Hardly as thick and your point of 300mls diluting 5-6qts oil is minimal. It is just hm additive without the oil. Besides, my point was this dilutes the add pack of any oil it’s added to, and is a way to try to kick the maintenance can down the road a ways.

“Proven” how? Which manufacturers approve this additive for use in their vehicles? Has it passed any objective quality tests or manufacturer certifications/approvals? I will bet, because I did the research, the answer is NO.You were saying it is as thick and garbage as Lucas. Lucas cst at 100c is 110cst. Lots of testimonials by thousands of users. Lots of info here about it and across the web. Your which manufacturer approvals mean nothing to folks that have used fully blended and approved oils and now they start leaking. I have used it with success several times and others here as well.“Proven” how? Which manufacturers approve this additive for use in their vehicles? I never said it was as thick as Lucas, I said it performed the same garbage function of diluting additives with a false sense of accomplishment.
