I know. It's so upsetting that my truck (97 4runner 3.4 V6) will end up in the junkyard before it's even been broken in. Only 138,000 on the clock right now.

Well I'm using those high quality oils and I drive lots of highway miles and maintain my car meticulously so lets see how many I can get out of my Santa Fe. It's got 192K+ Miles (320K+ KM's) on it now and runs great. Factory compression on all cylinders and no oil burning or leaks...

Good candidate and all documented here!

I dunno they are the same size pictures more/less & hosted in the same place unless he downloaded it from somewhere and added it with a truck photo.

I see what you mean...

I did a google image search and the only one I can get to come up is his thread so it's either from another vehicle or the odometer was different in that year and he has the year wrong?

It almost looks like a General Motors speedometer/odometer, if you ask me.

Looks Nissan-ish. A Nissan Pickup from that era has a KA24E motor and will run about that long on ANYTHING. :D

No Whole Dashboard Pic = Suspect. (If my car made it one million miles, id have Photo Albums up of it.)

However, we could all be mistaken.

Cvevrolet C/K 1500, 1992 I believe, went OVER 1 million miles and was for sale on EBay. Had an article, cant remember where it is...

OK, it was a 91. My old man had a 1990 Silverado 2500. It CAN be done..

Show me winter conditions, cold starts, summer conditions and varying speeds like stop-go driving.

Considering the way they ran the engine and considering it was a Mercedes I'm not impressed that there was that much dark varnish.
