This summer my key fobs stopped working and the TPMS light and abs lights came on.

I was able to reset the TPMS and then sometime later it started flashing PERMANENTLY. It never stops flashing. The fobs cannot be reprogrammed as the car doesn't enter program mode.

I replaced the suspect abs sensor and reset. No dice, as soon as the car moved the abs lights, vsc and flashing TPMS light came on right away.

I have done every Toyota reset procedure including jumping the circuits in the obd port to reset the "Yaw sensor undone" several times. All lights flash as they should and the process is complete. As soon as the wheels move, all of the lights come back on.

The tone ring looks fine, the ABS does not activate and no braking issues. The ABS sensor looks fine as does the connector. No bad fuses.

Check or replace your brake light switch. I had ABS light issues on a 2008 Scion Tc. If you do a search on that code it’s sometimes shows a faulty brake switch. It’s solved my problem.

I might be an idiot. I checked the tone ring again and used a flashlight this time. It's cracked every inch or two. The new sensor had metal all over the magnet. Although the tone ring doesn't have cogs on it, it's thin smooth metal. Maybe the ring is gone? I haven't seen one that's just smooth. The parts on rockauto for the cv axle show cogged rings.

If I was absolutely 100% sure that was the issue I'd buy a new hub but it's not really worth doing since it's a complete rust bucket.
