06 Frontier PCV valve locatiion.

Silly question, but I haven't notice it were it's located. My Father owns 06 2.5 liter Frontier, that has 91,5k miles on the clock and will need oil,filters, spark plugs changed out soon. Someone told him it doesn't have pcv valve. Tried to google it with no luck. I would like to change it also at same time.

Ha, no PCV valve. Funny.

Looks like fun. Just as bad as my Pathfinder; I need to remove the upper and lower intake manifold collectors to get to it. I really dread the day when I need to replace it.

So it should be regular type PCV valve, just hidden. Will tell my dad to say hi to that person whom told, that it doesn't have one.

Based on my experiences when dealing with most NA shops and dealerships (parts dept in particular): when someone told you that your vehicle doesn't come with a PCV valve, or PCV valve never needs replacing...I'd turn around and walk as fast as I can away from that so-called "expert/knowledgeable" person.

Frankly, he may not even know what the NA emissions standards/controls are, letting alone what a PCV valve is for (been in used in Cali as part of the emissions control since the 60s)

There are vehicles that don't use a PCV valve. My Jeep Cherokee with the 4.0l for one, does not, and I don't believe it ever did.

There are some applications where a PCV valve must come with a larger assembly. The 3V V8's from Ford the PCV valve can only be had with a new valve cover assembly.
