No oil added.
Schaeffer Blend 10W30, 4 months, December through March
3.7L V6
Most trips are very short, less than 2 miles, but there were two long trips in here, so about half and half short and highway.
I saw a recent comment by Member Widman that he works on getting his trucker clients down to 1 ppm Iron per 1000 km. That would be 11 - 12, for this OCI.
First Column 30600 miles, 5000 miles on oil. Analysis by Blackstone, Feb 04.
Second column 48000 miles, 6000 on oil. Analysis by Butler Labs 4/01/05.
Third Column 64,800 miles. 6600 on oil. Analysis by Blackstone, Apr 06, 06. Filter was NAPA Gold.

Blackstone comments : "wear is slightly lower in this sample compared to the first one. This oil was run longer than the last, so you're essentially getting less metal per mile than before. We found no antifreeze, fuel, or water, and insolubles were low at 0.3%, showing excellent oil filtration and complete combustion, Silicon was fine at 11 ppm, showing no problems at the air filtration/induction system. Your engine is wearing well enough that we think you could run more miles on the oil if you wanted…"
Been using 10w30 Schaeffer for about 45,000 miles. Put in Pennzoil Platinum this time.
