The subject pickup has 120k miles. This is the 3rd drain & refill (pan drop). The pickup sits for 24 hours after the pan has been removed. The previous 2 times it has taken 6 qts. Tonight while pouring the 6th quart fluid started pouring out. It was coming out the vent in the top of the transmission. Any ideas why the fill amount was different this time? It sure looked like 6 qts in the drain pan (7qt pan).
