Interesting report! I just bought an '02 Tahoe with 60,000 miles on it. I'm trying to decide what oil to run after the Auto-RX treatment. I probably would not have considered RL 5w20 before I saw this report.

The latest brew in my '72 suburban is 3 qts. Royal Purple 5w30, 1 qt. Mobil 1 0w40, 1 qt. Castrol 10w30, and about 3/4 qt. Motorcraft 15w40. Sometimes I use whatever came out of my Camaro along with whatever else I have laying around.

I've got a '97 Johnson 48. I haven't had any problems with it and it runs great. I was wondering if anyone recommends running any additives to keep it running good and to extend its life.

I started using FP this morning and accidentally doubled the recommended dosage (I know, I'm an idiot) I added 4 oz. to 10 gal. Is this going to be a problem? I assume I should just keep topping off the tank until the mixture is correct. Thanks. Bryan

It's got 23k mi. It probably doesn't "need" it now, but like Vetteman said, I wanted to catch it early. I really did it to satisfy my "need" to fix things that aren't broken.
