I need a single bolt. How hard can it be?

Dodge dealers around here wanted 36 bucks for the front shock absorber (to lower control arm) bolt. I went to the Ford dealer and the guy at counter pulled a matching one from a spare bin for free.

    Vacuum Oil Extractors

Hmm? I'd have no interest in extracting engine oil this way. But would come in handy with trainy fluid.

Doh! 2005 Suburu outback no spin on tranny filter

Like an idgit I ordered 2 spin on tranny filters from Amazon. I should of taken a look underneath. Looks like they stopped using spin on filters in 2005 for my model. Just a big bolt there where the spin on were in previous models. I wonder if there's a conversion kit to add one back in? It...

    Easy DIY Rusproofing

Okay, I tried the OP technique about a month ago to part of my frame just for kicks. I power-washed the frame and undercarriage of my truck yesterday in order to apply half gallon of fluid film that I had left over. I pounded away at the frame with power washer/soap. 2005 suburu outback tranny fluid?

Recently purchased vehicle, tran fluid looks a bit dark I'm gonna change. I bought a Haynes service manual today, I guess starting in 2005 suburu outback calls for their own brand ATF type-HP. Is this the only option? Wow, very pricey, must be synthetic?

Best non OEM windshield wiper brand?

I'm surprised folks go through so many wiper blades. I still got the original Bosch's on my 2004 Ram 170K miles. I do notice that using RainX washer fluid the wipers don't have to work as hard.
