Best non OEM windshield wiper brand?

I normally just buy the cheapest I can find at Walmart. I have done my share of experiments with the "expensive" wipers, and my conclusion is that ice or sun will get them faster than what they could last under "optimal" conditions. I have never seen a single one of them last longer than a year.

Used to buy Bosch all the time because I noticed a difference in performance/longevity. Last couple of sets cured that hypothesis.

Anymore, Anco or Trico. Whatever is best price with sales, rebates, etc.

I'm surprised folks go through so many wiper blades. I still got the original Bosch's on my 2004 Ram 170K miles.
I do notice that using RainX washer fluid the wipers don't have to work as hard.

Rain-x does help a lot. It also depends if you garage your vehicle or not. It is hard on wipers to leave outside and then drive it with ice caked on them or in summer the rubber degrades in the sun.

I find that spending the meager $15/year offers incredible vision vs putting up with old ones. You notice the drastic difference when they get changed.
