Generally, that would be an extreme pipe dream in Canada. While it is possible to get synthetic for around $5 per quart under some very good rollbacks, synthetic has never been regularly priced for $5 a quart, no matter how far you go back.

That being said, at least one of my suppliers has barely touched the price of Mobil 1 in over twenty years (adding only $2 per 4.4 L in all that time). That can't be said for conventional.

With Amazon I got a great deal on GC and Edge 5w-40. Shipping was free here in the States and it took about 8 days because they had to order it from Castrol to fulfill my order.

I ordered 3 gallons of Royal Purple 10w30 for 61 bucks with free shipping.

Yes, of course I've heard of DHL, LOL! I've had deliveries from them many times. But usually when I get something from the states it comes Fedex or UPS. So to have it come DHL was surprising.

Ya different for sure. I didn't think they had much coverage in the states. I'll have to look at the stuff you bought, any other oil that I've ever tried comes up with "cannot ship to your address".
