    Radar detectors-Which one?

Of those two, I'd go with the 9500i. It has a lot of interesting bells and whistles. The performance is quite nice too. The STI Driver is an option only if you drive where detectors are illegal.

The fuel dilution doesn't seem to affect the wear. I saw the same results in my last UOA on my Speed6. I know they have a couple new ignition systems to help get a more complete burn from the fuel and I'm curious if that would help reduce teh excess fuel.

Why was dual chamber Master cylinder eliminated

Last June or so, the rear lines rusted through on my 98 Grand Prix. I lost all brakes. I was just lucky the line blew whle in the Wendy's Drive-Thru.

I have some M1 10W-30 SL, but for some reason, I thought I read that it was thinner than 5W-30.

I might have to look into those STP filters when I run out of OEM ones. My local dealer mailed me a $20 gift certificte, so that will buy three filters and crush washers.

    Redline...

I have Red Line products in my drivetrain (transmision, transfer case, rear end), but haven't tried it in the engine itself. I have a bunch of Free After Rebate stuff to go through first.

Anyone else have thoughts? I'm curious to see if I'm safe to run upwards of 5,000-6,000 miles for an interval.

How is the construction of that STP filter? I've stuck to OEM for my Speed6. I think the short trips are compounding this engine's fuel dilution issues. I end up with trace amounts, but I did more freeway driving.

    06 MazdaSpeed 6 Quaker Q Advanced 5W-30 4300 miles

I was putting about 50 miles per day on the car for a couple months. The driving was anything from 80 mph cruising to 15 mph bumper to bumper and stop and go traffic. It's typical Houston traffic. :) I think the cruising helped with the wear number. Right now, I'm back to suburban driving and...

    06 MazdaSpeed 6 Quaker Q Advanced 5W-30 4300 miles

I took advantage of O'Rielly's Free After Rebate deal a few months back on Quaker State Q Advanced. This is my second oil change on this motor (car bought used) and I'm trying to nail down an OCI. The car was driven a good mix of highway and city. Highway runs usually were in the 3,000 rpm...

65% of Toyota Buyers Buy Another One

My neighbor has two Toyotas and most likely will buy one in the future. My father is on his second Camry after saying he'd never buy an import. It's a very limited sample size, but it seems to reinforce the thread title.

    upgrade old or get new

I buy behind teh curve usually. The further behind the curve you are, the sooner it becomes obsolete. Ther are plenty of system builders out there that can build you a machine ata reasonable cost. As a minimum, I'd do the following: Dual Core Processor in the 2 GHz range 2 GB RAM 80 GB or more...
