I have the airaid intake tube on my truck and I like it. I didnt notice a power increase but it makes a nice noise now under heavy throttle. I liked it because it still uses the stock airbox and filter.

I do all my own work and most of the work for my immediate family. I recently replaced a piston and con rod in my uncles hemi durango. Pulled the head and the pan and did it in frame.

Looks like an idle air control valve. It probably is not allowing enough air to bypass the closed throttle plate to allow it to idle

We had a venture in the shop the other day that was getting coolant into the oil and found the oil cooler to be defective. May want to check it out before you get into the mess with the intake. The one we worked on did'nt have any water running through the intake manifold anyway.

Ive put almost 107k on my sti and have not had a single issue other than normal maintenance. When I had the exhaust off a while back to replace a gasket the turbo had zero shaft play.

I actually really like this car minus the rear end styling. The engine in these make music. Am I the only one tired of all these paddle shifted transmissions? I just like using a shifter and clutch.

It literally hurts my eyes to look at it.

Just filled up last night at a local Weigels store and it was $2.97 the Exxon across the street was $2.98.

All you have to do is read the label to see its bad for you. Generally if it is not on the outer walls of the store its not very healthy.
