    Cold Oil Questions...

Also have a hard time trying to trust a guys knowledge in oil when he calls them weights instead of grade. :P

    Cold Oil Questions...

I did an UOA a long long time ago when I still had my E92 M3. I ran the Castrol 10W60 that BMW recommended for that car during summer/winter after speaking with their master tech. The UOA showed that the oil sheared down considerably after driving the car a thousand miles or so (did a track day...

Knew I Should Not Have Went With Pennzoil Ultra

What I used to do was whenever I see them on sale on Amazon/Walmart for $28.xx, I'd just stock up and buy at least 2 OCI worth of oil for PUP when I feel like running the oil. By the time I'm ready to do the 2nd oil change, it'll come back on sale.

    Oil Recommendation please. 2016 370Z 7AT

Own an Infiniti but figure its the same. I'm running Castrol Magnatec 0W-20 on the Q50 Red Sport for now. Going to try PUP next since it was free and have a stash of M1 EP after that. From what I've read, the VVEL is what kills the oil for Nissan cars. The only thing special from Nissan's...

    PurOl Oil (5w30)----AWESOME!

It's the only thread dedicated to PurOl that I saw. Some say to stop opening new threads. Some say these threads are too old and dead. Either way, they're kind of price-y and just e-mailed a reseller of the oil to see if it does indeed have API certifications or if it just a statement that it...

    Let's see your oil stash!!!

Tried to hold out as long as I could but it's of no use. Ended up finding deals here and there and ended up building up quite a bit of oil in the apartment. If I follow my 7500 mile OCI, looks like I'll be good for 45000 miles. That's another... 2-3 years for me. That's also not including that...

2016 Infiniti Q50 RS Transmission Oil Change

I really appreciate everyone's feedback. As someone else stated, I'll most likely just use OEM until my warranty expires. After that, I'll give Motul a try.

2016 Infiniti Q50 RS Transmission Oil Change

It doesn't state that S-Matic is REQUIRED but rather recommended. This usually means it's fine to swap but the whole disclaimer that followed stating the use of other fluids will essentially degrade the life of the transmission is what worries me.
