Almost every nissan altima with the 2.5 ticks. Mine did, my sons does, I've listened to others' and theirs do too. Nothing to worry about. Drive it to 300,000 miles with the tick and enjoy it.....

My 07 Nissan versa specs out for the same grade, I used Red Line MTL, which is 75w85 GL-4. Have 65000 miles on it right now and couldn't be happier with it. The factory fill was an Elf product, but the Red Line shifts smoother and the transaxle is very quiet. Yes my car is a manual tranny.....

Have had numerous Nissan's over the years and have found them to be no noisier than the other Japanese cars. I currently run a Versa as my everyday car, for about four years now. When the weather is cold, one of the lifters is a little noisy until warm, other than that the engine is very quiet...
