Anyone Use 5w30 Super Tech ?

I've read that SuperTech synthetic is more than OK for most things. Not sure if you're talking about it or conventional though.

    Aisin ATF WS?

Eric the Car Guy of Youtube fame used Maxlife ATF in a 4Runner of the same vintage as yours (they all have the same A340f trans afaik), with good results. He still works on the same truck regularly and hasn't mentioned any problems related to the transmission.

    oil filters for kawasaki FR651v

Stens filters are pretty good. I cut one open here: Stens 120-345 Cut Open They're usually available for under $7 on the 'net, never found them in a store. They have all different sizes for OPE. I believe your part numbers would be 120485 for the stock size short filter and 120634 for the...

my new to me riding mower

If the surging is due to a slightly lean mixture (as it usually is), some fuel treatment like a gumout product or similar might just clean out a restricted carb jet. Worth a shot.

Coolant recomendation for older Nissan, Toyota

Always use Toyota Long Life Red (not pink) in older Toyotas. It's silicate free and wont eat solder.

    Cheap OBD2 Bluetooth devices

+1 to the BAFX. It's the best one I've ever used. I use it with the Torque Pro app.

    Switch to Synthetic?

I switched a 350hr 19hp Kohler that has full pressure lubrication from 10w-30 conventional to Rotella T5 10w-30 and it did not develop any leaks. I say try T5 and see how it likes it. It's a very good oil for OPE applications.

    Toyota 90915-YZZG1 Cut Open

Filter was used on a 5VZ-FE 3.4L V6 with Castrol GTX High Mileage 5w30 for approximately 4,000mi. There were no noticeable tears and the media felt firm as it should. The ADBV was perfectly pliable. Well built filter IMO.

Who makes a quality fuel filter?

I put a WIX in my '97 4Runner 3.4L, it's considered to be of good quality. Bought mine from rockauto.

    10w30 vs 15w40 first impressions

I use Rotella T6 in some wet clutch ATVs, it seems to work very well and is cheaper than "specialty" ATV oil.
