Anyone use or have experience with a QuickJack?

I use mine at least monthly. I’ve got enough time in with em to set them up in about five minutes now. Having a polished concrete floor make it much easier to move them around. I usually do tire rotations and oil changes at the same mileage so it’s worth the extra effort to set them up. Only...

    Ecoboost mustang long term reliability

My wife dailys a 2017 ecoboost Mustang. Factory down to the paper air filter. 5000 mile oci with pennzoil plat. 50000 miles still getting 30 or so mpg on highway trips. No power train problems so far

    Need tires for the mustang

We just replaced the tires in my wife's ecoboost with the same ones we took off of it. Goodyear f1 asymmetric a/s, in the size you mentioned. We got almost 40000 miles out of the factory set. My only complaint was that they were a little bit noisy. Wet traction was better than I expected out of...

What happened to the 3,000 Mile OCI?

Just looked at the owners manual for my 1998 z28 camaro. It recommended 7500 for non severe service. I believe that it also just specified gm6049m which was satisfied by Dino oils at the time. Hard to believe that was already 20 years ago

    My DIY record keeping example

I do almost the same thing. My local dealer was very happy to see the motorcraft filter box tops when the short block needed to be replaced on the 5.0. They're a great dealer and would have honored the warranty anyway, but the service writer told me seeing those records made it quicker

Mustang 2.3L ecoboost review. 2018 w/10 sp auto

As others here have said, my wife's 2.3 eb 6 speed auto mustang runs much better on 93 octane. Running on 87 if feels like it pulls a lot of ignition timing out. It also always got a few mpg less when on 87. Other than that I have no complaints about it as a daily driver. She averages 28 mpg and...

    Breaking in new short block

Ive read about "out of round" cylinders on the gen1 11-14 coyotes. Mine is a gen2 but it' seemed to be the same issue. I was hearing was sounded like bad piston slap in drive thus. Otherwise the engine seemed normal. No signs of excess blowby. Still made good power and got 25-26 mpg. Sure enough...

    Breaking in new short block

Yeah. I may have stepped in it. Hopefully the server won't freeze. The mototune method is what I've always used on my bikes and it seemed to work well. I wasn't sure if any procedures were done at the factory fo the original engine before shipping the car. That was the reason for my original...

    Breaking in new short block

Just recently had the short block replaced on my 2017 Mustang Gt due to cylinder scoring in cylinders 3and 5. Wanted to know if the break in period should follow as in the book or if any extra procedures need to be followed. Thanks in advance.

    80 Hypoid?

My vfr1200 calls for the same thing in the rear drive. Been using Pro Honda 80w90 changing it every 4000 miles or so. No problems in 11000 miles. Happy riding!

Factory Fill Final Drive Oil. VFR1200F

Mine came out dark and nasty as well. The Honda 80w90 I replaced it with has a kind of green tint to it.

    Who trailers their bike?

I tow when I'm heading to arkansas or to the hill country in south texas, 8 and 4 hours respectivly. Sticky bridgestone can flatspot fast on strait roads

    Hi-Flo filters, who uses them?

I have used these on my 02 suzuki bandit 1200 and 03 sv 650 for years. I've never had any problems with them. They seem like a quality product
