My observations:

The MX4T did very nicely, I was pleasantly surprised that it held grade, wear metals low, when pro-rated for mileage, regarding wear metals, it came in 2nd place. Rotella Syn was 1st place, Mobil Truck & SUV 3rd, with Amsoil last.

All had excellent TBN's with Rotella the best, albeit a little tough to compare it to Amsoil due to mileage differences.

I've used 3 types of oil filters, Amsoil, Honda OEM made by Toyo Roki, and Wix, all of them came in the insolubles with 0.1 --- so it would appear there is no difference between the high cost filter of Amsoil at $15 verses the OEM at about $12 at the dealer, and the wix at under $10 at the local parts store.

The Shell Rotella seemed to circulate faster, as well as the Truck & SUV, than the 10wt oils, so there was less start up chatter. The shifting with the Rotella was excellent, the MX4T was at the start, but it began to roughen a tad - nothing overly significant.

I welcome any comments the experts might have.

The new Amsoil MC oils (MCF/MCV) have moly in them, and I don't see any in your analysis???

As I have considered this recent report, I have come to the conclusion that for my bike, the Shell Rotella Syn 5w/40 has proven itself as the TOP PERFORMER not only in performance protection, but also cost, availability, shift feel and startup quietness. What else is there to consider?

I know it's not a Group IV or V, I know it's not motorcycle specific, I know it's made by an oil company, but whatever Shell is doing is working big time! At least for my bike...

I'd say when you ran the Ams, you were still getting breakin debree.

If you ever try it again, try the 15w40 amsoil diesil, IMO the shift is a notch above the rotella syn.

But the Rotella is pretty good

Oil analysis can't be used to determine oil filter effectiveness or efficiency.
