virgin,
that delco stuff is mostly kerosene

got access to bio diesel
dump a lt out of your pan and add a lt of biodiesel
far cheaper and a great ester veg. fat based cleaner

Nice brew of a stoddard solvent base(mineral spirits). No wonder why GM is loosing market share.

By the way how long do you run the bio diesel? I would have though that its real value was in fuel, seeing that it is in such short supply.

So now GM is losing market shares based on Solvents? Come on...Ever think of maybe, just maybe it is poor quality for one? The solvent issue is getting real old here folks....

Well if ARX is not available, ACDelco sux, what is the best locally available engine oil additive cleaner commercially worldwide.

0.5L of Redline Oil added to engine oil ???

I would like any other answer without being pointed to ARX.

I know ARX is the best. I want to know what's the best of the rest ??

virginoil:

A quart of kerosene added 10 minutes before dumping it to a warm engine. I don't recommend it ..but many OTC flushes are just that, kero in a can

Most draconian technique that I know of AND have performed:

Dump sump. Fill 50:50 with kero and ATF (just thin lube). Run for 10 minutes under NO LOAD. Dump. Save drained oil to flush out the engine before adding new oil.

I don't recommend doing this ..but you asked,
