So I found the receipt for the one pint can and I went with that and the empty can back to the hardware store to ask them again about their claim that they never sold me a one paint can, and that it does not exist. The employee gave me a wounded stare and coudn't explain. The manager explained to me that they tell their employees no never admit to a product existing that is not in stock. That matches my exerience with many places. If they don't have something they say it doesn't exist. When I tell them I know it exists they sometimes admit "We don't have it." Are employees generally told to lie to the customer just so they can sell anything they have?

You don't want to know what I told him.
 
BIN is great for high-moisture areas, I used it when I repainted my parent's bathrooms and they remain mold-free to this day. I also like using Glidden/PPG's Gripper primer.

As for paint, I'm a Kelly-Moore or Ben Moore guy.
