Added tool battery platforms. 2 more! Chagrin. So should I.............no sadness.

Well I might lose a mancard in the campground, but exactly.
Well, you aren't dragging around $100k of trailer with a 1 ton platinum with gold sprinkles edition diesel dually, or rolling up in your Class A land yacht, so no worries on having some ryobi laying around, you already aren't the coolest guy there! ;)
I suspect you'll mostly be in different campgrounds than those guys anyways, as you don't need 40 acres to turn your rig around!

Years ago when I decided to go seriously cordless I did lots of research, asked lots of questions, and ended up going with Hitachi (now Metabo). I have a dozen or so tools and even more batteries. I have been very happy with the decision. I swore I would not give into temptation and introduce any other brand(s). I was determined to go hard core. Then, not long ago my SIL's husband passed away and she offered me his like new Milwaukee impact wrench, a nice case, a rapid charger, and a smaller battery (1.5ah). She could have at least made me feel a little better had she twisted my arm a little to accept it, but no, without swallowing my pride or at least begrudgingly accepting it, I jumped on it like a thief. Next thing I know I'm out buying bigger batteries for the **** thing and looking/drooling over other Milwaukee tools. There should be a "cordless tool anonymous" because I swear it's becoming an uncontrollable addiction.

So no high voltage tools yet?

Bug zappers?

Pipe cutter?

Band saw?

I remember my first was a Makita 7.2V drill. I almost built a whole deck with that thing but needed to put a fire under my keester so I bought a 9.6V Makita. That was like driving a Caddie!

A 9.6v Makita was my first cordless tool as well. I still have it laying dead is a tool chest drawer with one of those 6" long batteries it used. Used it to drive dry wall screws when I finished my basement a long time ago. Trouble was I could only get about 30 screws or so per charge and only had one battery. I couldn't afford a second one at the time. And then it seemed to take a day and a half to charge the battery. Ahh, the good ol days!! I was really tempted to get a milwaukee lantern for camping. Only 130 bucks, such a deal right? Then I remembered I don't camp anymore. Then I thought I could get another good size battery for the impact wrench for that money. Then I realized I only used it twice to swap snows on my cars. That barely puts a dent in the one battery I have. So far I've practised some surprising self control......we'll see how long that lasts. Maybe we have a pressure point some where we can push on to reduce cordless tool urges.
