Bought a 2019 Yukon XL Denali L86 6.2L/10L80E from a customer, Has a bad engine/Lifter failure. Bought a 60,000 mile 2016 Camaro SS LT1/8L90E package way cheaper than a high mileage L86 by itself

Will do a AFM delete using a TSP L86 delete cam, Lifters, Valve Springs, Oil Pump, Timing Chain & Tensioner etc.

This will be my personal vehicle & I can return my 2000 Silverado to strictly shop truck duty. Been awhile since I've had a nice vehicle & I really like the K2XX platform!

Sweet, It appears that you have the resources to make this happen & sounds like it fit financially. I agree these GM's are pleasant to the eye. Keep us updated on your progress. V8 Power!

nice.

The Burb is 4wd correct? I suppose the 8l90/10\l90 is easy to adapt?? Will the same PCM work or you have to run standalone? I like Burbs.

Cocoa and Dune. :) GM's other interior choice, for when you can't stand the thought of black leather seats in the summer.
That’s very similar to our 2017 Tahoe - the newer one has a black interior - but both are white with no sunroof - and the AC’s are great.

Wife had a 2017 with that same interior. The 6.2 in that one felt faster than her 2024 for some reason.

Enjoy!

When I was a coach at university, we rented a lot of Suburbanćs, Yukon, etc. I always claim GM knew best how to tune V8 in these full size SUV's for that performance/mpg ratio. And while I am on the market for a large SUV, that lifter issue is what prevents me from consideration. Of the 2 people I know that had Suburban, that generation, both had lifter issues.

I would like to follow your progress on this. I have a 2019 Yukon Denali myself, but only at 18K miles. I think I like the color of yours better than my extra cost Shimmering Quartz Metallic. Love your wheel option too. Is your interior gray or black?
