YUGO is coming back!

There is M85, and it is 5.56mm NATO standard.

I think the reference on the show was more on the lines of size and application. They might be around the same size, but I don’t think there’s anything quite like the P90. I found the line a little bit out of place because it was after the breakup of Yugoslavia, although I guess Serbia and Montenegro claimed to be the successor in name.

I always found it rather weird when some people still referred to Yugoslavia. A radio host in my area referred to his ancestry as “Yugoslavian” well past 2000. An international classmate of mine from the late 80s said he was “from Yugoslavia”, but that was back when it still existed. But since then, I’ve met many from the region, and today they’ll all say they’re from Croatia, Serbia, etc. Even when I was in grad school in the mid-90s, an instructor there was from Belgrade and considered himself Serbian. He didn’t really talk much about it, especially with war going on back home. Was more interested in basketball strangely enough. And anyone just talking to him would have thought he was American (or at least grew up in the US from a young age). Found some video of him being interviewed.
