Odd fact of the day.

You have to be a retired letter carrier to live in Nalcrest, Florida. Ironically, the town does not have mail delivery service.

Don't know if things have changed, but my dad was a retired USPS executive (not a carrier) and he and my mom lived in Nalcrest for one year before buying a home a bit to the west on the other side of Lake Weohyakapka. This was in the early 1990s. As I recall during a visit, the place was somewhat empty, so maybe they just made an exception.

The info I found was the above but I suspect it may be any retired postal employee not just carriers.
