P.B.

For those unaware, if yah' gets one of those phishing e-mails and it references the eBay site forward the scam spam (with headers if yah' know how to do it) to:

[email protected]

Supposedly, eBay assists law enforcement in trying to track some of these criminals down.

I long for the day when society tires of the scam and uses a modified three-strikes format.....

three times of successful ripping folks off and the villagers gather in the town park for the festivities that culminate in the hanging of the miscreant from the hanging tree.

That's one problem with our current method of execution (but, I truly truly wish that execution was reserved for those with absolutely NO doubt in any way manner or form of the person's guilt), the general public can not see the deed thus nullifying much of the deterence effect.

Heck, take the school kids down for the hanging. Let the populace see the results of being a bad boy or girl.

Hang 'em!!!!! Hang 'em high!!!! Let 'em dangle and leave 'em up for awhile in public view.

Yep.

obbop,

Public executions should be brought back. Id bet crime would drop. I also wouldnt mind watching violent criminals fight for their live in a Colosseum.

"Hang 'em!!!!! Hang 'em high!!!! Let 'em dangle and leave 'em up for awhile in public view."
-Well, at least until their heads rot off.

The weird thing about my email spam posted above -the "random" 4 word phrases (holes ali oil wary - etc)don't show up in the email, not until I cut and paste into BiTOG can they be read - what's up with that?

That was the second job/resume spam I've received in two days.

obbop,
Public hangings would be a deterrent, and I'm betting the crime rate would drop too. I've often thought about a cable channel, or PPV titled "Executions". I betting that an enormous amount of money would be made, and it could be used to fund enforcement agencies. I also wonder why we have so many criminals on death row, and so many people waiting for organs. Seems to me that part of the penalty should be payback in the form of helping someone else live.

I would like to bring back public stoning. Each person is limited to one stone for each copy of the spam or virus they received. The stones can be no larger than what they call #2's around here.
