So who else is getting dumped on today? Around Detroit here, they're saying 8" by the time it's all done, 12" if you're closer to Ohio. I can only imagine what Ohio and Indiana are getting now. From what the radio was saying, it's apparently a lot worse there.

Not sure how much snow yet, weather forecast for NE Ohio says 6-8 inches maybe for where I am. Snowed yesterday afternoon into the early evening. Temperature warmed up and rained late through the night! Ice on the trees etc, now sleet and freezing rain. More snow later today when temperature drops again. Merry Christmas!
-40 wind chills here. and to think i ran out to get the paper in a shirt and shorts! we probably got 6 inches in the last two days, supposed to get 4 more.

We got about 6" overnight, with about another 6" to come although right now it's freezing rain, yikes!
I decided to just stay home today, even though I had already borrowed my mom's car so I didn't need to drive the Corvette in this stuff. I'm now off work until after the new year, so I don't need to go anywhere! We're supposed to get rain and 50 degrees by the middle of next week they say, and a couple of days before that where it's sunny and 40-45! (hopefully it's true)

My backyard thermometer said -10, I just installed a brand new Optima red top battery on Monday. That, in combination with the M1 0W-30 in my Expy now, makes starting so much easier. The starter turns over like it was the middle of summer.

Bah Humbug! I hate snow. I have to plow it on State Highways. I'll take rain anyday over snow. Have a nice Christmas everyone!!!
I'm off home shortly for a swim in our pool (Christmas Eve here today). Accompanied by a few Corona's and lime of course. 32C today, nice and warm. You folks enjoy that snow.
