Pulled this guy out of a generator today. Was running poorly. A new NGK plug fixed it up.

Of course lol. I thought they had to meet certain regulations to sell?
I've got a couple of $79 small two-stroke generators that I picked up on a Black Friday sale at Menards several years ago. For the money, they are good generators, they even came with 12 volt DC output. They also came with Torch plugs. The Torch plugs are hit-and-miss, so I just take them out immediately. My little generators are are good units...after you take out the Torch spark plug.

I am glad to know more about what to watch out for. They will cheap out on making anything in any way they can.

I worked part time at NAPA for many years. I sold a lot of NGKs over the years to replace failed Torch plugs.
