Anyone see the ad in Motor Trend (January 2012 issue) for this product? I saw it last week and finally looked for them on the web and boy do they like their product. 1 blister of 27ml is 45 dollars. They also seem to have a product for every part of a car (sometimes multiple products for one area) and all expensive.

Some people associate price with value, and it seems some makers of additives and oils use that strategy. While it might be true in many instances, its not true in all instances. There are a few products often mentioned on Bitog that IMO fall into this category.

That was my feeling as well. Plus they have to pay for that nice big ad.

I tried out Xado's cermet product a couple of years ago. It worked great for around 25 miles. I put it in right before a long road trip in my '02 Volvo XC70. MPG maxed out at 33, never got better than 27 before that, but that increase lasted about 25 miles, then finally settled back at 27.

CerMet Labs product seems more robust, and lasts much longer, in my opinion.
