Wynns oil additive?

I was at a Getty gas station yesterday, and amongst some 10w30 SL rated oil oils they had, was some bottles of Wynns oil additive... says it contains zinc salts in it. Anyone know if its any good? Says to fill 12 oz bottle to 4 to 6 quarts at oil change.

Spoke to a Wynns chemist a while back (they sell my work a lot of stuff).

They told me SFA, but would answer direct yes/no.

Looks like it's predominantly zinc and not much else.

...Zinc and brightstock...I remember seeing this stuff...I think it has Nickel in it also...I could be wrong...

ok! so, is it worth dumping into oil? I know SLOB holds the hands down status here, but cnat find any, i like having extra zinc

Get a VOA on the additive. See what is in it, if the concentration is high enough,........

They also have some great tools, ATF/PSF products, and an MTF for manual/x-cases that use ATF or Synchromesh type fluids.

I like Wynn's oil additive and would like to by some but I can't seem to find a retailer any where but in the UK. Does anyone have any ideas on a retailer in the US. i really like the Wynn's but I may have to do research and find some else to try.
