.. $55 for my car WOW!

I could get the 0W benefit if there is any (?) wngine was made for 10W so how is there, and its 70 out here on the regular and will get hotter) AND will be a "40" in the older engine. That, or GC for "somewhat les" but RP.. Oooo!

It will either expose all my leaks or be fine !!!

Would YOU run this oil (RP oW-40) in YOUR car AND would you PAY the PRICE?

Similarly, its $8,49 for 5W-30 OR 10W_30 at Walmart, and again, im wondering if even THAT ids good.. but id likely get 0W_40 LOOL

NO!!! thats robbery. but i have ran the 5/30 when its on sale for 30 with a K&N. good oil!! wish i would have got more! but i wont pay ridiculous prices.

dont even change the oil, pretty soon you wont be able to buy gas anyway

electrolover: how did it make the motor run?

And Steve S: the 2.8 Camaro.

EDIT: its high mileage, and it likes the Mos2.

And yall are going to KILL me if i say "Lucas helped it" but WOW i think a LOT of COMPRESSION has come back!! .. is that possible ?

I put in half bottle Lucas after the Mos2. It feels like a new car. Still has weird issues like a "WHIRRRRRR" someitems mid-crank (?) .. but all is well when it starts.

No,RP is a very good oil but,you can get the same service life and protection out of much cheaper oils.I can get Amsoil OE for less than $5 a qt and it's a much better oil IMO.

I bought 10 quarts of RP 0w40 at that price. When you only change oil once or twice a year, cost really isn't an issue.

I wouldn't pay that price for any oil. I do like RP and buy when it's on sale or with the AAP 40% discounts.

I'd wait for the sale they have on it every once in awhile and stock up then. 2 or 3 times a year O'Reilly's has 5 quarts of RP (any grade) with a K&N filter for $40

Good deal~!

Norfolk and WayPal!

M-1 0w40 in a heartbeat over that overpriced stuff!

Actually, I'd put Pennzoil Ultra 5w-40 in my crankcase before the M1!

I don't give a rat's a$$ how little or how often you change oil during a one year period; cost IS an issue when they are trying to rape you for $12 per quart!

I wouldn't pay that much for any oil. If you insist on 0W-40 go with Mobil which when on sale is about $5.00 a quart; otherwise Pennzoil Castrol or even Valvoline will do just fine at about the same $5 a quart.

Lets get real.....you can purchase Pennzoil Ultra, Edge or Mobil 1EP for less than half that price ($27 to 28.50 for a 5 quart jug).

Those three oils are just about the best out there....not that RP is not a good oil....but $60 for 5 quarts does not make common sense or economic sense.
