Worst oil you ever tried or used?

I know that one time my dads neighbor put some Accell ND-30 in his lawn tractor, even though my dad told him to use Valvoline SAE-30. It smoked bad for a while, then I changed the oil to Valvoline 30 wt for him. Stopped smoking and runs good.

I had what I remember as a 1983 Renault Alliance. It ran like a top. I took good care of it , changed the oil and adjusted the valves. Rust got to it and I let it go, however I bet that engine would be running today!!
The engine was a 1.4 I think and would go forever on a tank of gas, but could not get out of it's own way. Slowest car I have ever had. LOL...Good car though.

I'm guessing Arco Graphite. Never noticed any problems but I have not heard good things about it. Seemed like a good thing at the time.

Mobil Super 5000. Far as I'm concerned ought to be named Mobil Slagg 5000. Drained it after 432 miles. Felt like molasses until the engine got up to temp. Maybe they put 15W40 in the 5W30 jug I bought. At least it only cost me $9.99 after MIR.

I worked at a Midas a few years ago and I'm not sure how bad the bulk oil was. As our boss got cheaper he started using trust oil filters. What garbage, take it out of the box and the gasket falls right off. Filter was so light it could not have had much to it.

Mobil 1 5w30 by far. It caused Fe to go up by 2 ppm in a used oil analysis. That oil was on the verge of scoring my cylinder walls, spinning all of my bearings, wiping my cam lobes, rotting my valve stem seals and killing my dog. All that it didn't even keep my ring lands and piston skirts as clean as Pennzoil Ultra would have.

I am pretty sure the Peak oil is made at WP (Warren), which also blends the Walmart Supertech conventional oil. Should be just fine for a 5k change.

Worst one I can think of was some [censored] c-store branded one. I really knew better, but it was 10w30 for a lawn mower.. only ran it for an hour or so max... the mower was for trimming up after the tractor. The mower is now running WPP made 10w30 and is still healthy. I'd love to find that bottle so I could elaborate. It wasn't one of the ones that have been immortalized by PQI.

I still see some of the WARREN oil at the local GET GO'S in my area(Giant Eagle gas station is GET GO). Friend of mine at work said save your money and use the Pennzoil conventional.
