Anything brewed with rice!
Heineken isn't bad but I think you are right it's not as good as it was 20 years ago. I drank a lot of St Pauli Girl when I first got back from Germany but haven't been able to find it around here for many years. Molson's and Mouse Head are good drinkers but hard to find. Modelo is ok but not worth the $2/3 more than the others. So there are some popular ones that are/were good. Not cheap beers, but I don't understand why people drink terrible Corona over a Pacifico or Carta Blanca
I also do not understand why people drink Heineken swill over a good Carlsburg or Pilsner Urquell.
Just because something is "popular' or highly advertised doesn't meant its your best choice or even a good choice.
Now Becks here in the U.S. is fake. It was my go too in the 80s while clubbing.
AB InBev ruining beer. The Belgians think you are stupid.
All started when Miller started brewing Lowenbrau in the 70's and ruining it.
Just when my palate was becoming sophisticated at the age of 19![]()
Please forgive my lack of taste.
Love me some Steel Reserve 211.
I consumed a fair amount of St Pauli Girl and Oranjeboom as well. Really liked Moose Head.Heineken isn't bad but I think you are right it's not as good as it was 20 years ago. Remember taste is subjective!
I would say Rolling Rock is a nice, clean inoffensive beer. Better than Corona that's for sure.Anything brewed with rice!
Used to drink this in the 70's when I was having more than Six beers at a party.
But not as bad as Iron City LiteIron City is awful.
