Worse Coolant Leak

So my picup (see sig below,) has a worse coolant leak since I replaced the thermostat and killed the leak there. Now I am noticing (for a fact it is coolant) green colant running down my engine and dripping off my transmission. This is a new leak, and I have done some searching on the interweb, could a simple intake gasket replacement cure this problem?

I am going to do the valve covers aswell while I am at it since they are leaking oil.

Any tips, recomendations, etc appreciated!

Get a pressure tester and pressurize the system and try and trace the leak before you replace any gaskets. No point in changing something that might not be bad.

When you fixed one leak, there is now more pressure to leak somewhere else. This happens sometimes.
Flour, baby powder, or talcum powder can be dusted on any suspected areas so the origin of the leak will show up.

Or put a little can of coolant dye in there and even if the coolant evaporates it will leave a trail right to the leak. One of the best $4 I spent when tracking down a sneaky front engine cover seal leak.

The best tools I've found for leak detection are a steam cleaner, a light, mirror, and lots of patience. Clean it off, run it... get it to leak again. Then look it over carefully and see where it's coming from. It ain't rocket science.
