Ha ha, I did a double take on your post. The time stamp said “ yesterday” . Wait a minute, it’s after midnight here, and the game is still on.Turned it on just in time to see a blown double play - to 3 runs and counting

Was 18 innings enough for you to catch some of the game?Stuck in SeaTac - honestly hope I see the game somewhere
I stayed up right to the very end and because I was watching it in bed I fell asleep about 60 seconds after it was over. Even though the Jays lost, they proved that they belong in the World Series. The game could have gone either way really. This is actually the third Jays game that I have seen where they have gone 18 or more innings. I was in person at two different games in Toronto where they went 18-19 innings!
I will definitely be getting a $1 iced Capp today to wake myself up and there will be multiple naps too. I hope tonight’s game goes to the Jays. I really want this series to go the full 7 games actually. It has been exciting baseball!!
Both sets of relievers..........wow Lauer and especially Klein. To hold both well hitting teams to goose eggs for 4+........great pitching. At this point it seems clear, these teams are indeed evenly matched. Looking like we are going to have quite a series, well, we already have!

Nice series, even though I watch it completely shattered.
Classic old timey baseball headline:
Jays say enough's enough, won't pitch to Ohtani

Huh?.................the Dodgers great pitching is not beating great hitting.
It worked one game but not yesterdayPer a JoeBlogs (baseball pundit Joe Posnanski) post earlier this week, the Dodgers are invincible but for their Achilles Heel (a.k.a. their bullpen).
The prevailing wisdom was that if the Jays could chase the Dodgers' starter early, they (the Jays) would be the superior team.
It will be interesting ...
IMO, yesterday's game went to the Dodgers for 3 reasons. It worked one game but not yesterday
OkIMO, yesterday's game went to the Dodgers for 3 reasons.
1 Jays manager is an idiot. Stop pitching to Ohtani. He was 3/3 in the 7th, walk him! Nope instead he hits a HR to tie the game 5-5.
2 Jays manager again! Early roster moves by the Jays took 4 of their top 5 bats out of the game (Springer & Kirk hurt???, Barger and Bo for base runners)
3 Umpiring was awful on both sides but seemed like the Jays got more raw deals.
The Dodgers bull pen is terrible. If the Jays bats stayed in the lineup, I think they take game 3.
I agree with everything you said. You read my mind 100%.IMO, yesterday's game went to the Dodgers for 3 reasons.

I wonder how many are from NY?Vladimir Guerrero Junior is a Canadian. I wonder how many players for the L.A. Dodgers are from L.A.
That went both ways - and some down to split second tagsI agree with everything you said. You read my mind 100%.
I think they learned their lesson on 1 & 2 however. I sure hope so anyways!
One thing I’ll add is they under estimated the Dodgers fielding abilities. The Jays got caught a couple times by how fast the Dodgers were able to get the ball from the outfield to home/base. I hope they learned from this and aren’t so aggressive tonight.
