A well made AR should eat steel cased ammo fine. My DPMS had issues with the underloaded miltiary classic stuff until it was broken in. Now it eats everything as does my Oly Arms, Colt, and Stag guns.

My gun is a Colt Match Target. (Well made in your opinion?) In 15 years of shooting, it never so much as hiccuped with brass-cased ammo.
After a few 30rnd magazines of Wolf ammo, the cases would stick in the chamber.
This is my experience, and therefore I don't buy Wolf .223 anymore, no matter how cheap it is.
