How much moly does it have? Do you know?
I don't know the SP formulations, but typically I believe Valvoline has very little Moly and instead rely on other additives such as Boron if I'm not mistaken. So I'm willing to bet the SP isn't that much different in that regard than the SN+ was.
with the similarities of the SP and D1G2 oils across the board I wonder if Valvoline starts to get more love around here since they dropped the sodium add pack and added moly/titanium
If I remember right doesn't moly come in a couple different flavors? If it's in the double digits it's this kind and if it's in the triple digits it's this kind, sorry to lazy today to searchThey have as much moly as everyone else plus titanium.

I remember a few years back Maxlife had triple digit moly.with the similarities of the SP and D1G2 oils across the board I wonder if Valvoline starts to get more love around here since they dropped the sodium add pack and added moly/titanium
Last I read, M1 was at 800/900Valvoline advertises 800/940ppm levels of P/Zn for all grades except 0w-16. This is significantly higher than the Shell products, and possibly higher than Mobil 1. They are possibly the only major blender who advertises this. Could this be an advantage?
