WIX Filter # 51715 cross or longer/shorter option help

Hoping someone can help me out with this. I'm not having any luck searching the inter web trying to find a filter that is either slight shorter or longer than what this Wix filter is. I have plenty of room to use a much longer one if needed. These Wix filters are about $50 each. Many other hydraulic filters that are similar, or larger, are half the cost. Preferably a quality brand name filter. TIA

40 x 2.0 mm thread pitch
7.6 x 4.7 x 4.6 in

That's a big hydraulic oil filter. My digging around shows any others that cross to that filter are also pretty expensive, some over $100. Might find some down in the $35 range.

Yes thanks for looking. I tried search thread sizes but couldn't find much. I'm wondering if it has to do the thread pitch. Perhaps it's not very common. I found for china knock off's but I'd rather just stick with the Wix branded or even the OEM is South Korean made for my LS tractor.

In that order of quality replacements, you get what you pay for in this particular instance. I wouldn't risk a cheap knockoff.

Thanks Bighorn, I've found a couple of those as direct cross reference swaps but they are more expensive. I was hoping to find something that wasn't on the direct cross chart that would still be compatible and with a cost savings. I'm starting to think that this unicorn does not exist. I agree though, I'm not going to use a china knock off filter to save $15.
