Wix 57356 cut open - approx. 7k miles

This was from my mom's 2013 Honda Fit. It was in service for around 7,000 miles put on in 11 months of driving. Very impressed with this filter. The ADBV was pliable and plenty of oil was still in the filter. Pleats were spaced well. No issues that I could find.

Purolator could take a few lessons from Wix...first on TEARING....second on pleat spacing.....

Wix always made great filters but i think the owners of purolator bought them but i could be wrong.. If they did keep an eye on the quality..

You have the more recent version of the 5/7356 than the NG7356 one I recently posted HERE, purchased a couple years ago. But same results. This one adds Wix traditional thread end bypass. It's gone through some revisions since first introduced with new baseplate and as the replacement for 5/1356 for Hondas and others.

I have been picking these up in the NG version for less than $3.70. Purchased one last week at the local Napa 40% off sale, and had gone to ~$3.90. Still a heck of deal for silicone adbv filter with quality construction. Oh, can color now black in the NG model, suspect same for Wix.
