Winter tires for a 2012 Toyota Sienna

This was the case with the early WS-50 Blizzaks, but then they switched to a normal winter tread (non-multicell tube compound) for the bottom 50% of tread.
 
I would go with the Michelin plus Michelin has a 70 dollar mail in rebate which starts tomorrow on a set of 4. The Blizzak is a good snow tire too.
 
Fitting winter tyres is a very good idea. The Germans seem to do the best tests to figure out the all important braking performance data and this link gives a list of ADAC test results:

Which brand and type is best varies with the exact tyre size, but in general terms you get what you pay for and cheap winter tyres often have very poor performance figures in wet conditions in particular.
I would recommend choosing a tyre from one of the following companies:
Continental, Michelin, Dunlop, Goodyear, Pirrelli, Bridgestone or Nokian.
