Winter has officially arrived here in OH

The day before Thanksgiving Ohio gets dumped on with about 1-3" of snow and salt. Great timing for me because I came home for Thanksgiving from college. Roads weren't too bad, other parts were so so.

I feel pretty confident my truck as it is now will make it through the winter without giving me beef. Oil is M1 10w30, 15w50, LC, SX-UP(yea I know, too many additives) Of course I like to do my annual winter ritual of doing donuts in the High School parking lot

I dunno know about y'all but I'm ready for spring

I joke. I have friends in Columbus and Akron, and didn't like winters in either.Summers either for that matter.

Your not kidding man! I love the spring and summers here, fall is ok, and winter can just bite me, lol

If I had a choice of where to live, it would have to be in Nebraska, Colorado, AZ or somewhere nice in the mid states. Colorado probably isn't scorching hot but I can improvise in 4 wheel drive, hehe op

Colorado was scorching hot this summer!!! 114 when I had to go to La Jaunta in August. But it's a 10% humidity type heat.

We got this cold fog crap going on - no rain for days.

It did clear yesterday. My G0D, how glorious! That sun felt really good.

Yeah a temperature inversion. Did you notice that even when the sun was out, you could see orange clouds of smog hanging over Seattle?
Gonna rain later today or tomorrow.

Until yesterday we had temps in the upper '70s and lower '80s. Then it became overcast and now we suffer unbearable temperatures. If we see '40s I'll have to put on a long sleeve shirt.

Oilpan49, I think you're lucky to have any winter at all. We haven't even seen lows below 40 here in The Swamp -- probably won't until January, if then -- and the soggy, dispiriting heat will set in again during March. From then until late October or early November we'll have 85-95 degrees every day, with 80 degrees and 100% humidity at dawn (often giving a heat index of 90!) and 65% at the *driest* part of the day.

When I lived in Colorado, I loved the winter, and fall and spring. But summer was hot, and people there had this idea that air conditioning was Some Newfangled Fad from Back East).

Can you tell I hate Louisiana's climate? I'll trade you an inch of snow for 3 months of steambath!
