Windows 11 BSOD

I've never had any luck with windows repair. Usually by the time the issue reaches that point, it's easier and faster to just reimage the computer.

I checked about the non-subscription version of Office, apparently they want you to login to your MS account anyways to download and install non-subscription versions of MS. I'd check it out first before reimaging so you know what to expect.

I think I am good to go. Now to reinstall windows.

Off topic, but the latest Windows 7 UpdatePack was released a couple days ago. I've got a bunch of PC's to update but at least there's no 10 or 11 for me to deal with.

I booted normal Windows and set the option for no decryption so it went through the entire drive and decrypted it. Took about 20 min. Was not sure it would stay up that long but it did.

Did a reinstall of Windows 11. No issues. Have not seen a BSOD yet. CrystalDiskInfo said the drive was Good at 79%. Have it playing music 24x7 to keep it busy looking for a BSOD.

Unsure about getting my purchased version of Office back. I think my purchased version is no longer supported so they do not list it as a download. But have not given up. I have all my data files on external hard drive. Or should. I could have done somethings too quickly and did not get the files on external hard drive.

I will give some thought and up my game with respect to backup of data & license keys.

I just accepted this week going for free upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11. So far I HATE what I am seeing of this new
Windows 11. YES, I am a dinosaur and attempt to avoid just about everything new. I certainly want nothing to do with AI.
