Anyone have experiance with this gun? Found one at a pawnshop that I'm thinking of scooping up cheap. Holds 2 3/4 and 3' shells IIRC. TIA for your input!

Have had one for about 12 years and knocked down over 100 pheasants, a dozen or so chukar quail, one very large turkey and innumerable rabbits and squirrels. I have never had a single problem. I have a short and a long barrel for the gun. They use the WinChoke system so you can get a variety of screw ion chokes for this gun.

The Winchester 1300 is indeed a very good and light pump gun to have. I had a 1300 Defender and the nice thing about it was that it cycles much faster than a mossberg 500 or a remington 870.

I have a 1300 combo in 20gauge. I like it is a good solid gun, its a bit lighter and has a bit less kick than my 870 20ga does. Did you end up buying it?

I have a 1300 defender model with pistol grips. Haven't had any issues at all with it. I keep it around for home defense.
