been thinking about it today. i don't really know what i woulod prefer for my body. if they could do like a great big funeral pyre on the farm , maybe, but otherwise just stick me into the ground.

I'd prefer to be wrapped in cloth, dropped down a vertically drilled hole, and have a nut tree planted on top.

Seriously.

A pyre also has appeal.

yes, i want a big [censored] gum tree planted on me and my wife. she'll never escape!

I want to be as biodegradable as possible. Maybe buried in one of those biodegradable caskets!

I will be buried in the mountains beside Tony. There is a magnolia tree at the foot of the grave. I have already paid for everything and all my son will have to do is call the church to set a time and date and let the funeral home know. I am very healthy and I intend to be here for a very long time.

the thing that gets me is the cost for any of it. That's cash that could be used for the greater good, my enjoyment, or the use of my offspring. Unfortunately I think there are some hygenic aspects to it.

Cheapest method available. Trash to steam? Nice batch of G-Oil? Maybe there will be enough advances to make many of my parts salvageable for continued use.

A tree would be a nice memorial to my existence.

I sure hope most all of my parts are well used prior to me going away. If theyre in too good of shape, there is money to be made in the medical monopoly harvesting them. I don't care to enable that.

There is some conceptual waste thing with the expiration of a perfectly good body.

..but I won't begrudge the monopoly its due if some of my parts are "suitable for continued use".

I've often pondered what it would be like to view myself as a medical cadaver and having the instructor comment, "It's amazing that this guy made it to this age. Look at the deposits!!"

I'll proberbly go to some university for medical students to practice on, I guess the 'Bits' will then be cremated.
I wonder if I can get a Tax receipt for myself?
