Wife away on retreat - what shop items to clean in dishwasher

Look around your car interior for things that come out-- cupholders, ashtrays...

Don't use the high heat cycle, you can warp stuff.

I am looking around finding a few funnels

Use to clean backfire flame arrestor from boat.

Oil drain pain might be going too far?
Keep in mind this might cause a plugged drain line. I used to regularly put my Weber kettle grill grate in the dishwasher.

I would be careful, because I KNOW my wife would find out and respond by using my toothbrush to clean the bathroom sink and perhaps, the toilet.👹

To the OP and everyone else:
Did you ever see the Al Pacino movie from the '70's entitled, "Serpico"?
At one point, a kindly, old police chief has reason to draw a breath and calmly say to an underling......

"Sergeant, that is a stupid idea".

Funnels, measuring cups, detail brushes, old detail chem bottles/sprayers... DW works great if you get the heavy stuff out first. Could probably do solid wrenches and sockets, but never tried. Hmmm....

Same here! Wife is away on a girls weekend. But the nastiest thing that going in the dishwasher tonight is the remnants of Indian food. I just fixed that thing, so no car related things. :)

Get a used dishwasher on craigslist, use it to wash whatever you want, then get rid of it or sell it for slightly cheaper to the next guy. As long as you rinse it a few times it is probably good. If you don't plan to sell it later and just dump it, you can even use harsh chemical instead of dish soap liquid too if you just let it run outdoor.
