Why so few extended life 0w30s?

The latest Mobil-1 ESP 0W30 VOA here at BITOG does not pass SP specs.
This is the reason I didn't put the Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30 into my car. I noticed it didn't meet API SP, which I want for my 2020 Equinox. I sat it aside for my other car and got Mobil 1 Euro 0W-40 for the Equinox because it meets API SP.

What people should really fear is long OCI’s.
They shouldn’t fear it one bit if they are running the right oil for the task and are doing UOAs to keep an eye on things. We have many members here who have been doing extended intervals for a long time with great success. And you can see their reports in the UOA section here.

The reason ESP 0w30 is the phosphorous limit of which is still has less than the FS 0w40. The difference is there is no limit for phosphorous in API SP for 40 weights

Why? I see this all over the YouTube stuff (CCN, royalty auto, etc), and I can’t wrap my head around it.

Assuming a keen eye on oil level and oil not getting out of spec, what is the concern of a 7500-10k+ OCI?
