Why isn't High Performance Lubricants advertised as a long OCI oil?

Nice? Expensive to fix after the first three to five years is nearly a certainty.
Nice meaning nice looking, but agreed, expensive and unreliable. I know some who swear by them, but they are mostly the pre 2008 recession years. I am not a BMW aficionado. Recently learned that the F! McLaren was a BMW V8, of course in the early 90s.

They have made some nice rides, but do you think that in general, BMW is a quality car manufacturer? Within the last 20 years? Honest question. No fight.
Yes, the X5 is a fantastic SUV, and I loved my E39 M5, it was a beautiful, albeit, a bit expensive to maintain, car (which you somewhat expect at that price/performance point). My sister's 330i is 20 years old and still kicking, though the body is starting to go. It has been reliable.

They do make some killer looking rides, which to me is important.

What exactly did I say that you perceived as defensive?

I gave you some insight into a small company - and it's funny to watch BITOGers think that this particular small company, which has been extraordinarily accommodating; in disclosing details, making recommendations, formulating oils at member's request, holding open houses, should do even more for them, when the preponderance of their business is fleet and racing.
It's always been my understanding that motor and automotive oil is a (very) small part of HPL's business. I openly asked Dave about that at the 2022 open house. That was my understanding.
