I think you've got good point here...Look at sound rooms in high end audio stores which are meant to deflect soundwaves...I don't know exactly what it is on a molecular level that does this but there is something to it...Other materials can absorb soundwaves better and result in a lower quality listening experience.quote:

This may be a similar case with synthetic and if it is then this just solidifies the different molecular structures in the two types of oils...Synthetic may be louder but not any worse on your engine even though our senses seem to indicate otherwise.
