Why High Mileage Oils?

Why are the High Mileage oils only available in conventional or synthetic blend, besides M1 High Mileage?

I would buy a Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage oil.

I wish there were 5W-20 High Mileage oils. Back when I was searching for a High Mileage synthetic, all I could find was Mobil 1 10w30, 10W-40, and Valvoline Maxlife 10w30 synthetic. I don't like using 10w30 in my car except during the warmest part of the year, but would use a 5W-20 synthetic high mileage all year round.

There are. Both Valvoline MaxLife and Pennzoil High Mileage are available in 5W-20.

Good to know, all we have in my AO is the High Mileage 5w30 oil in Pennzoil and Valvoline. I'll have to look a little harder now.

That statement was meant to have the word "synthetic" in it somewhere.

He asked for FS oils.

Like was mentioned before, High Mileage oils prevent your
neoprene seals from hardening; seals need to stay
pliable to work correctly.
