Why heavy pulling and high EGTs won't burn the soot out of your DPF

years ago, french psa cars used cheap dpf (no precious metals) and eolys fluid (special tank) which was injected by computer into fuel.
after hundreds thousands km, dpf should be replaced because of being filled by ceria additive dust.
now everybody uses precious metals in dpf.

probably the one shot dpf additives are same thing.
Eolys™ 176 is a fuel borne catalyst (FBC) additive that, when mixed with the fuel, reduces the temperature required to burn particles trapped within the diesel particulate filter.
